Paintable One Week Character Design Challenge

SELECTED BRIEF - Meet the Knight Priest, a figure shrouded in youthful mystery and divine purpose. Their androgynous appearance and piercing green eyes leave their gender an enigma, embodying a relentless quest for divine justice. Unlike others who spread faith, the Knight Priest is on a mission to obliterate the forces of evil ravaging the land. Despite their youth, they’ve battled countless foes, and their legend inspires awe and respect from village to village.

Their numerous journeys have taken them to distant lands, including the mystical monasteries of Asia, where they honed their combat skills under the tutelage of ancient monks. Armed with a deadly long spear and a collection of throwing knives, the Knight Priest is always ready for battle, their versatile training evident in every move.

The Knight Priest’s attire is a stunning blend of silver steel armor, leather, and vibrant yelloworange fabrics of Asian style and influence, creating a striking mix of priestly, monastic, and knightly elements. Faith symbols are engraved on their shoulder armor and scattered across their gear, highlighting their unwavering dedication to their holy mission. This enigmatic warrior stands as a beacon of hope and divine retribution, a true testament to the fight against evil.

Character Design Aging
For this brief we had to explore how the person from the reference would look like, since it was pretty ambiguous if the baby in the reference was female or male, I decided to create a story of two siblings were either could have looked like the baby in the picture. Of course, I added my little twist at the end and at ages 85 and 96, I researched for common death tombstones of these northern tribes.
For this assignment, I was tasked to create three characters/creatures using as reference the image shown at the corner and I was pretty happy with the result.
I tried to keep it with an ocean/mythical theme.
